Workshop leaders are all volunteers who work hard all camp dedicated to ensure you have a good experience at camp.

You too can be a workshop leader. You can just offer to do something when you get there. There are spaces in the busy diary of events when you can offer your version of something new. Many workshop leaders started in this way.

Team leaders are the people who look after each of the areas at camp are part of the development group. They have usually taken cahrge of an area by having a go at helping at previous camps. this has often happened as a result of Karma Yoga, where everyone is encouraged to spend some time helping in an area at least once during the camp.

The Development group is a group of people who take care of the running of DCN Ltd. Some of them organise the camp other may have a different focus such as legal responsibilities, developing policies etc. The development group is chosen each year from amongst the paid up members of Dance Camp North at the AGM. You really need to be there to get on the group. The group is limited to 21 people and usually 16 are chosen at this time. They meet throughout the year to progress the organisation. There will be a meeting of members and a report of the develoment group during the camp.
